Welcome to the 16th Annual #1 Pet Contest.
Here's a chance for all of our furry friends to face off!

The contest is easy to enter. Click on the the "Enter Your Pet" tab above, complete the short registration form and upload your photo. Please make sure you upload a great looking photo as it will be in the paper and included in the 2020 #1 Pet Calendar. There is an entry fee of $10 per photo. Only one pet per photo is allowed but you can enter as many photos as you like. No humans in photos please! The deadline to enter your pet's photo is Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, just give us a call at 973-383-1572.

All pets will be featured in the Sunday, March 10, 2019 issue of the New Jersey Sunday Herald. Readers can then vote for their favorite pet. Voting ballots will be published periodically in the New Jersey Herald for free votes. Additional votes may be purchase at a cost of 25¢ per vote.

Round one voting will end on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 5 p.m. The TOP 20 vote-getters will be published in the Sunday, April 7, 2019
New Jersey Sunday Herald. During this round readers will vote for who they think should be the #1 Pet! The last day to vote is Thursday, April 25 by 5 p.m. The winner will be announced in the New Jersey Sunday Herald on April 28, 2019!
