Enter your pet's photo for a chance to win the title of #1 Pet 2009!
All photos must be submitted to The New Jersey Herald, including a $10 per photo entry fee, by September 23. All photos submitted will be included in our #1 Pet Calendar for 2010. Photos should contain only your pet, with no people featured in the picture. You may submit as many photos as you like. Photos will be published in The New Jersey Herald on Sunday, September 27. Then it's your chance to vote for the #1 Pet in two exciting rounds of voting!

Aug. 16 - Contest Announced, call for photo submissions
Sept. 23 - Photo submission deadline
Sept. 27 - Photos published
Oct. 16 - Round One Voting Ends
Oct.. 18 - Top 20 Published
Oct. 29 - Round Two Voting Ends
Nov. 1 - Winner Announced!
The #1 Pet will be featured on the cover of the #1 Pet Calendar for 2010 and have $1,000 donated to a local shelter in his/her name and be featured in a story that will appear in The New Jersey Sunday Herald!
