Enter your pet's photo for a chance to win the title of #1 Pet 2013!
All photos must be submitted to The New Jersey Herald, including a $10 per photo entry fee, by February 13, 2013. Photos should contain only your pet, with no people featured in the picture. You may submit as many photos as you like. Photos will be published in The New Jersey Herald on Sunday, February 17. Then it's your chance to vote for the #1 Pet in two exciting rounds of voting!

January 13 - Contest Announced, call for photo submissions
February 13 - Photo submission deadline
February 17 - Photos published in The New Jersey Sunday Herald
March 13 - Round One Voting Ends
March 17 - Top 20 Published
April 10 - Round Two Voting Ends
April 14 - Winner Announced!
The #1 Pet will be featured in the New Jersey Sunday Herald and have $500 donated to a local shelter in his/her name! Also, back by popular demand - the #1 Pet will be featured on the cover of the 2014 #1 Pet Calendar. The top 20 will also be featured in the calendar.
